The rules and expectations for using Beacon.

By inviting, adding, or using Beacon (the "Bot") in any Discord server, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must immediately remove the Bot from your server and cease all use.
These Terms apply to all users who interact with the Bot, including server owners, administrators, moderators, and regular members.
Beacon is a Discord bot providing moderation, automation, analytics, role management, custom commands, and community management features. The Bot is hosted on a single server and operates via Discord's API.
The Bot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc. "Discord" is a trademark of Discord Inc.
You must have the necessary permissions in your Discord server to add and configure the Bot. By adding the Bot, you represent that you are an authorized administrator of the server.
The Bot is intended for use by individuals who are at least 13 years of age, consistent with Discord's Terms of Service.

The Bot may collect and store data necessary for its operation, including server configurations, user roles, moderation logs, and analytics data. This data is stored securely and is only used to provide the Bot's features.

The Bot, including its name, logo, design, and all associated features, is the intellectual property of the Beacon team. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
Beacon is a hobby project built by unpaid volunteers — not a company. We do not generate revenue and have no financial resources. We will not pay any settlements, compensation, damages, or refunds — not now, not ever. By using the Bot, you acknowledge that you have no financial expectation or claim against the Beacon team.
We run monthly premium giveaways for our community members. These giveaways are conducted fairly and no purchase is required to enter or win. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel giveaways at any time without notice.
Giveaway winners are selected at random. Prizes are distributed through Discord. We are not responsible for prizes lost, delayed, or undelivered by Discord or third parties.
The Bot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Bot will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times. Features may be added, modified, or removed without notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Beacon team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Bot. This includes loss of data, loss of server access, or disruption of Discord services.
Since Beacon is a volunteer project with no financial resources, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed zero dollars ($0.00).
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
You may terminate your use of the Bot at any time by removing it from your Discord server. We reserve the right to restrict or block access to the Bot for any server that violates these Terms, without prior notice.
